TRINITY SCHOOL FOR CHRISTIAN MINISTRY, Taiwan

— Trinity Course Specification

Special Features

  1. In a mission to provide life-long learning, study credits received have no time-limit, and may be gradually accumulated to receive the award of a diploma or degree.
  2. Other than courses offered in conjunction with St. John’s University, there are no academic semesters or terms with TSCM, only “stand-alone” credit courses.
  3. A “stand-alone” credit system means there are no courses that have a prior learning or credit-study requirement. We think this is particularly meaningful in our digital world of profuse information via the internet.
  4. Courses are offered in the daytime, with an occasional evening course. There are also special two-day-overnight courses that take a monastic character of daily offices with study.

Diplomas

  1. We strictly adhere to a credit system that is based on the credit-hour requirement of public colleges in Taiwan and a teaching standard ensured by fully academically-qualified faculty/teachers.
  2. In the early years, Trinity Hall had an Agreement on mutual recognition and exchange of faculty and students with the Episcopal St. Andrew’s Seminary in Manila, Philippines. TSCM now has cooperation agreements with St. John’s Univeristy (Taiwan), the Methodist Graduate School of Theology (Taiwan) and the Church Divinity School of the Pacific (Berkeley, California).
